Elk Antelope Gas Project Area Land Owner Association Inc., EAGPALA, is a registered legal entity representing the 11 clans in PRL-15. As a landowner association, it protects the rights of the PRL-15 Papua LNG landowners.

 

The association's specific goal is to raise awareness on the rights of landowners in Papua New Guinea. What sets our association apart from others in the industry are our umbrella companies, Jerilai Pujari Holdings Limited and Papua LNG Contract Management Limited, which have entered into joint venture partnerships with reputable companies to meet the specific needs required for the EPC contracts within the Papua LNG Project.

Confirmed as the principal landowners of the Elk/Antelope gas field as per the Ministerial Determination by Minister Kerenga Kua, we are now formally and legally recognised as legitimate landowning clans.

We aim to provide strong leadership on the ground to our umbrella companies and to the Papua LNG Project, while at the same time, ensuring that our people derive maximum gains from economic and commercial opportunities created by the Papua LNG Project.
